Train Drift

Train Drift puts a genuinely unusual spin on drift racing: instead of cars, you steer massive locomotives through stunning landscapes, executing daring drifts and dodging competing trains in adrenaline-charged races. The scale and weight of a train change how drifting feels compared to a typical car-based racer.

Controls use the up/down arrow keys or W/S to control speed, with left/right keys to steer and initiate drifts, and mobile players tap screen edges for the same inputs. Because locomotives are massive, momentum and turning radius matter far more than in lighter vehicles — a train can't change direction as sharply as a car can.

It's worth anticipating turns well in advance given a locomotive's size, initiating drifts earlier than you might in a car-based racer to compensate for the reduced agility. Watching competing trains' positions closely, rather than focusing purely on your own line, also helps avoid collisions given how much space a train occupies on the track.

Train Drift is a good fit for players who enjoy racing games with a genuinely novel vehicle-scale twist on the classic drifting mechanic — free to play instantly in the browser, no download required.
