Santabalt is a holiday-themed endless runner starring Santa, who leaps between rooftops at increasing speed while you dodge whatever obstacles appear in his path. It follows the classic endless-runner formula — the run keeps going until you make a mistake, and the goal is simply to last longer than your previous attempt.

Controls are kept to a single tap or click, used to time Santa's jumps between rooftops. There's nothing else to manage, which keeps the difficulty curve entirely about reflexes and pattern recognition as the pace ramps up the longer you survive.

Because speed increases the longer a run lasts, it helps to stay focused on the next one or two rooftops rather than trying to plan far ahead — at higher speeds there usually isn't time to react to more than what's immediately in front of you.
