Bomber Friends blends puzzle, action, and strategy into a classic bomb-placement formula: you navigate explosive mazes, strategically placing bombs to blast through barriers and outwit opponents, while staying aware that your own bombs can just as easily catch you off guard. Character customization and power-ups add variety on top of the core mechanic.

Controls use WASD or the arrow keys to move through the maze, with mouse or touchscreen taps handling bomb placement. Because bomb blasts affect an area rather than a single point, positioning yourself with an escape route in mind before placing a bomb matters as much as the placement itself.

It's generally worth planning an escape path before placing a bomb near yourself, rather than placing first and reacting to the blast radius afterward — a bomb placed without an exit plan is one of the most common ways to accidentally take yourself out. Using power-ups to expand blast radius or bomb capacity strategically, timed for when you have safe space to use them, also tends to work better than grabbing every power-up indiscriminately.
